Dr. Rinna Saun received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Maryland under the instruction of Nelita True. She received her Masters of Music from Mannes College of Music in New York City where she studied with Richard Goode. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from University of North Texas. She received training in the Dorothy Taubman technique as well as Abby Whiteside training. She was a teaching fellow at UNT for three years and has taught private studio lessons for 10 years. She has performed in New York, New Orleans, Interlochen, National Public Radio, and many areas of Florida. She won First Prize in the New York-Korea Times Competition, and First Prize in American Music Scholarship Association World Competition. She loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her son, Brendan.
