Laura Wheless is a Piano Teacher at Gray School of Music
Laura Wheless has taught middle and high school choirs for 18 years. Two year as the Assistant at Webb Middle School, five as the Head Choral Director atl and eleven as the Head Choral Director at RL Turner High School. Choirs under her direction have received consistent Sweepstakes and Superior ratings in choral competitions including UIL, Solo and Ensemble, and several festivals.
Wheless earned the Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Hardin-Simmons University with an emphasis in acting and piano. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Southern Methodist University. She actively serves as an All-State Camp section leader, clinician, judge, and guest conductor throughout the metroplex and internationally.
Laura Wheless’s private voice studio, over the past twenty years, has consisted of children through adults.
