Dmitrii Tabala is a Violin, Viola, and Piano Teacher for Gray School of Music
Music is a journey, and I am honored to be a part of yours. Dmitrii is a teacher of violin, viola, and piano. His mission is to cultivate a love for music, develop technical proficiency, and inspire continuous growth through structured learning and performance opportunities.
Born in the cultural heart of St. Petersburg, Russia, Dmitrii has dedicated his life to the art of violin and piano. Currently, Dmitrii is advancing his studies with a Masters in Violin Performance at Southern Methodist University. His foundational training was at the prestigious St. Petersburg Special Music School pre Conservatory, post which he was awarded the full scholarship at Idyllwild Arts Academy for his high school diploma and California Lutheran University for his Bachelor’s. Dmitrii’s musical journey began at the age of 3, and since then, he has traveled the world, performing as a soloist, participating in music festivals, and competing in national level competitions.
Three things that inspire him the most are his little sister, playing for strangers who love music, and 5 cats that are waiting for me at home.
