Victoria Gilbreath is a Violin Teacher for Gray School of Music
As a devoted lover of music, Victoria Gilbreath has been diligently studying and playing the violin for almost 20 years. Graduating cum laude with her Bachelor’s of Music in violin performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Victoria has taught students of all different ages and from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. Prior to graduating from UNCG, she traveled and performed throughout Central and South America, Asia, and the United States, working with children in underdeveloped communities and countries. Through her travels, she discovered that music was an indispensable humanitarian tool that could be used to promote rehabilitation amongst youth. Using these skills and experiences, Victoria is able to provide lively and stimulating lessons for any type of student.
In addition to being an experienced and dedicated teacher, Victoria is an accomplished performer. Before moving to Dallas, Victoria held numerous positions with professional symphonies in North Carolina including the Greensboro Opera, the Fayetteville Symphony, and the Asheville Symphony. Here in Dallas, she also performs regularly with her husband, William Estes (who also teaches violin at the Gray School of Music), for a variety of different events and weddings.
In her free time, Victoria loves cooking and traveling to new places with her husband, as well as talking with her two, very naughty, fur babies.
