Alma Bulibekova is a Violin Teacher for Gray School of Music
Alma is currently working on her “Doctor of Musical Arts” degree in Violin Performance at University of North Texas studying in Professor Philip Lewis studio.
She received her Bachelor degree teacher in Kazakh National University of Arts with a qualification as violin performer, chamber group performer and violin teacher. She was awarded for a special stipend from the President of Kazakhstan for excellent studies. Playing as a violinist in the Eurasian Student Symphony Orchestra based in Kazakh National University of Arts, she went on tour throughout Europe and performed in famous halls such as Salle Gaveau in Paris (France), Wiener Musikverein Hall in Vienna (Austria), Music Hall of Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome (Italy), and the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory in Moscow (Russia).
Alma got her Master of Music degree in Violin Performance at the Pennsylvania State University School of Music with Professor Max Zorin. There she was a winner of Concerto Competition and Graduate Exhibition where she represented work by Kazakh composer.
